Thanks for playing our piece on your podcast. Any friend of John Lima is a friend of mine. Hypoborea is an mythical artctic realm used by fantasy writers such as Clarke Ashton Smith and Robert E. Howard. I thought it was an appropriate title because the piece conjured up a cold emptiness to us. Not empty in a negative way, but rather and emptiness in preparation of reception. A void, but in the Buddhist sense. We alternated between through-composed pieces and improvisations on Leng Jin. This piece was an improvisation that just came together wonderfully. It means a great deal to both me and John whenever it resonates with another person. Art is communication, plain and simple. So thank you and keep in touch. -Peter

Peter,

It was great to catch up with you recently, if only for a very short time! Thanks so much for giving Peter and I the 'shout out' on your podcast-your words are too kind! I hope the move goes well and I'll be checking out this page now and then to get your updates.

Cheers,
-John
